AIIMS Raebareli OPD Registration 2025
In this section, we have put some background information about this scheme. So the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) at Rae Bareli in Uttar Pradesh was approved in February 2009. This was approved in Phase II of Pradhan Mantri Sawasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY) at an approved cost of Rs. 823 crores. Now the state government has allowed 148 acres of land for this project.
As per the Gazette Notification which was released on the 13th of August, 2013 for the establishment of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences at Rae Bareli. The government of Uttar Pradesh transferred land measuring 97 acres out of the already agreed 148 acres to the Central Government in July 2013 for the establishment of AIIMS Rae Bareli. The remaining 51 acres of land in under acquisition by the State Government and are expected to be provided in due course. The Ministry appointed M/s HSCC (India) Ltd as the project management consultant for the project in July 2013.

- In this scheme, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Raebareli was established as an autonomous institution and institute of National importance through the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (Amendment) Act, passed in 2013.
- Now the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (MOH&FW) has nominated the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh as the mentor Institute for AIIMS, Raebareli. The Director, PGIMER has been given additional charge of Director, AIIMS, Raebareli.
